Register to Play for the St. Croix Soccer Club

Thinking about joining Minnesota's Premier Soccer Club?
We encourage you to browse our website and explore our club programs.  SCSC has programs designed for all levels of play.  For those of you who may be new to the Club or to competitive soccer, the St. Croix Soccer Club season starts in August, when player evaluations are held to determine rosters for the next summer’s teams (except U9 and U10 tryouts, held in October). Most teams train indoors during the winter months, and move outside for training in the spring. As part of your registration fee, the Club also provides age group-specific training throughout the winter and spring months.

PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT – I, the parent/guardian of the registered player, a minor, agree that the player and I will abide by the rules of the USYSA, MYSA and St. Croix Soccer Club (SCSC), its affiliated organizations and sponsors. Recognizing the possibility of physical injury associated with soccer and in consideration for the USYSA, MYSA and SCSC accepting the player for its soccer programs and activities, I hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify the USYSA, MYSA and SCSC and its affiliated organizations and sponsors, their employees and associated personnel, including the owners of fields and facilities utilized for the programs, against any claim by or on behalf of the registrant as a result of the registrant’s participation in the program and/or being transported to or from the same, which transportation I hereby authorize.

CONSENT FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT – As the parent/legal guardian of a participant in USYSA/MYSA/SCSC programs, I hereby give my consent for emergency medical care prescribed by a duly licensed Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Dentistry. This care may be given under whatever conditions are necessary to preserve the life, limb or well-being of my dependent.

What do Summer fees cover?

  • Training at the Dome
  • MYSA/USYSA league fees
  • Referees for league games
  • Insurance
  • Club trainers
  • Coaching courses and licenses
  • Entry fees for about three tournaments per team
  • Complete uniforms for U9 to U17 players
  • Tryout jerseys
  • Continuing contributions for the Dome and the Lucy Winton Bell Athletic Fields
  • State tournament entry fees
  • Administrative expenses relating to registration, field scheduling and referees
  • What additonal cost might be involved?
Additional costs will vary from team to team but are likely to increase as the commitment level of the team increases. Teams may incur some or all of the following fees:

  • Coaching fees
  • Additional team-specific indoor training time
  • Winter indoor league fees
  • Training fees
  • Equipment (the club requires but does not provide shoes, ball, shin pads and water bottle)
  • Additional team apparel (as decided by the team - for example, team warm-ups or matching bags)
  • Tournament entry fees that exceed the Club's allocation per team
  • Travel costs, meals and hotels for out of town tournaments
  • Families should carefully consider all of the above costs before registering with the St. Croix Soccer Club. Traveling soccer is not for everyone. It is more competitive than recreational soccer, and requires a greater time and financial commitment on the part of players and families.
