Select Boys Soccer Teams

The St. Croix Select soccer program provides an educational and competitive environment structured to consistently produce the most mentally, physically, technically, and tactically accomplished players. They will be recognized for their superior quality of play, knowledge, and passion for the sport. The program is coached and managed by professionals who provide an elite soccer development experience for talented soccer players and athletes, consistent with age appropriate expectations and commitment levels.

Stated simply, the objective of the SCSC MN East Select program is to provide an elite opportunity for more players and to create extremely high-level teams that can compete not only for Minnesota state titles but also at the USYSA Region 2 and National level as well.

For the Select Teams (U13/U14/U15 Teams):

When a player is placed on a select SCSC team, they become part of an elite squad of top players with high goals. As the players mature, techniques will be taught at higher speeds, tactics will become more complex, quicker decision-making will be stressed and more emphasis will be put on winning. As the teams mature more preparation and emphasis will be on competing successfully in Regional II/National events. This will keep a continued focus on a high level of excellence.

For all MRL, Premier, and Select Teams:

While not for many players, elite-level competitive soccer helps qualified players learn discipline and commitment, develop physical fitness, build self-esteem, evolve lasting relationships, and learn life lessons that transcend winning on the field. This level of soccer should still be great fun, and the St. Croix Select program will strive to provide an enjoyable environment for all players, coaches, and families. These goals will be obtained through the combined efforts of our coaches, parents, and players.
