REC LEAGUE DESCRIPTION:
The Stillwater REC Winter Soccer League is a recreational soccer opportunity for Kindergarten-5th grade boys and girls.
Players who will succeed in this program have either participated in a recreational soccer program previously or decided to look for more advanced opportunities than what they currently have.
This program will provide a positive learning experience for all players, concentrating on the growth of the individual soccer player.

The purpose of this soccer program is to provide a positive learning experience for all participants to have fun, learn more about soccer, develop skills, and a lifelong love of the game.

Players will learn the fundamental skills of soccer; dribbling, passing, and shooting through structured activities, and 4v4 games.

WHY 4v4:

4v4 is the perfect opportunity to develop individual technical skills and to understand team play in a fun and competitive environment.

4v4 allows:

  • More touches on the ball
  • Teams to problem solve together.
  • Players are learning to attack and defend

Our program follows US Soccer's guidelines for age appropriate activities and expectations of our player.

REC (Development) LEAGUE PROGRAM:

The REC (Developmental) program is a year round program broken up into multiple sessions. You do not need to participate in all sessions to be a part of this league. New teams will be formed each session.
